Shop & Ship, operated by Aramex, has long been a go-to for international shoppers needing a local address in markets like the US, UK, and China. However, as customs regulations tighten and shipping costs fluctuate, many users are looking for alternatives that offer more than just a forwarding address. Whether you need help with payment methods or want a service that handles customs for you, there are several credible options available today.
First, what is Shop & Ship?
Best for: Experienced international shoppers who have functional credit cards for foreign stores and only need a basic forwarding address.
Strengths
- Extensive network with physical addresses in over 30 countries
- Reliable tracking through the established Aramex logistics network
- Simple weight-based shipping rates
Where it falls short
- Users must handle the purchase and payment on foreign websites themselves
- Customs clearance and duties are often billed separately and can be unpredictable
- Limited assistance if a retailer refuses to ship to a known forwarding address

- End-to-end purchasing where Lynks buys the item on your behalf
- Acceptance of local payment methods that foreign retailers typically reject
- All-inclusive pricing that covers shipping and customs duties upfront
- Door-to-door delivery service without the need for third-party brokers
